Directions
-
Fill a white sock with rice. Once you are happy with the amount (and size) of your sock snowman, tie the top with the rubber band. Take another rubber band and place in the middle – more to the upper side – of the rice-filled sock to form the head shape.
-
Create the snowman’s body by gluing the buttons to the bottom half of the sock.
-
Use colored pins for the eyes and nose.
-
Add a ribbon for the scarf and secure with glue. You can cut off the excess of the white sock, or you can tuck it in the hat.
-
To make the hat, cut the colored sock (cut the foot part, without the heel). Roll it a bit, place it on the head of your snowman and secure with glue.
Hint: Make different size snowmen by adjusting the amount of rice filling you put in the white sock. Ideal as a mantle display, table centerpiece or for a child’s room.
